TaiG has just released updates for iOS 8 Untether to version 1.1.0 with minor fix on “avoid redundant info on sandbox”. It is advisable to upgrade to the latest version.
Two ways to update latest TaiG Untether Jailbreak for iOS 8:
- If your iOS device is NOT Jailbroken yet, use TaiG Jailbreak for iOS 8 v1.1.0. (refer to the following Guide for TaiG iOS 8 Jailbreak)
- If your iOS device is Jailbroken (using TaiG up to v1.0.2), use Cydia updates to latest version 1.1.0
[1] Add TaiG Sources into Cydia
S1-1. Open Cydia and navigate to Sources tab
S1-2. Click Edit button on top right
S1-3. Click Add button on top left
S1-4. Enter TaiG APT URL (http://apt.taig.com) and click Add Source button
S1-5. TaiG Sources added
[2] Upgrade TaiG Untether Updates
S2-1. Navigate to Cydia Changes tab
S2-2. Click on TaiG Untether update TaiG 8.0-8.1.1 Untether
S2-3. Click Install button

S2-4. Once upgrade is completed, click Reboot Device
S2-5. To check the upgrade, open Cydia and click on Installed tab
