Guide to change Vyatta Router root user password

Step:

S1-1. Logon Vyatta Router using default user Vyatta

S1-2. Enter Configuration Mode

~$ configure

S1-3. Enter the following command to change root password

#set system login user root authentication plaintext-password <PL_PASSWORD>
#commit
#save
#exit

S1-4. To change to root user

~$ su

Vyatta ISO
